Go back to first page| Would you like a feature that automatically checks for, then removes, surveys from pages? | |
| People are lazy - we all like doing things with as little effort as possible and this data shows that! It is our disincentive to work that drives innovation - without laziness we would still be in the stone age eg why make cars when we can just walk? Why use your time to fill out a survey or give money to websites when you can just use the XJZ Survey Remover bookmarklet? Why click on the bookmarklet/copy and paste the code into the address bar when you can just get the addon which will remove the addon for you? Yup, this feature is definitely going to be present. | |

| Would you like the ability to turn this automatic check off (perhaps for security reasons, resource reasons, etc) and just have an option to remove surveys from the right click menu? | |
| Very little work will be required for this feature which many people may need. | |

|
| Would you want the ability to turn the right click button off? | |
| We all get annoyed when our right click menus get full of buttons that we never use. If someone's not going to remove surveys with the right click button they shouldn't be forced to have that button there! | |

| Do you think requesting a small donation in order to attain a key for the addon is a good idea? | |
| A very close result here, which I expected. Everyone likes to keep their hard earned money to themselves for good reason! However, it was pleasing to see that a lot of people appreciated the need for donations, both as reward for the many hours of development required for this project and in order to keep everything running - websites and services cost money to maintain and run! | |

(Data only from those who have the ability to donate)

|
| How much would you be willing to donate to use the Firefox addon? |
|
There was a lot of data attained in response to this question. The mean average suggested donation was £3.29* but it must be noted that depending on statistical technique, lower and higher results could be attained. As there was a positive skew to this figure and a relatively large standard deviation (yes, I know you don't care - I just like statistics okey!) I have decided to set the suggested donation lower than the mean at £2.99. However, this will only be a suggested donation: people can donate anything they want from £1.50 upwards. I believe this is a fair standard price following your opinions in the questionnaire and I think allowing a variable donation caters for the high standard deviation and Spearman's Rank value. |
| *Based on those willing to pay with none zero suggested donations removed. It was assumed that £10+ equalled the value of £10.00. |
